Properties
The pure product is in the form of white crystallized powder. it is soluble in organic solvents such as methyl alcohol, acetone, alcohol, acetic acid and ethylacetate ester etc. it is basically insoluble in kerosene, aether, chloroform, benzene and water. however, it easily decomposes in alkalinen conditions.
The product is quite stable in dry condition and acid solutions.
Directions
The crystallized gibberellin powder must be fully dissolved in alcohol before use. Notoxicity is tested in lab rats when LD50>15g / kg given orally and when LD50>6.3g / kg given by intravenous injection. no incitation haoppens when eyes and skin expose to the product. each gram of the powder generally requires 50ml of alcohol or 60% white spirits / liquor to dissolve for more than an hour. then add water to dilute the liquid to the desired concentration. The gibberellin emulsion, soluble powder and water - soluble tablets can be dissolved directly in water. you need always to dilute the liquid to the desired concentration. the diluted gibberellin solution can be applied by smearing over, spraying, immersing, point spraying etc.
Toxicity
Gibberellic acid is of very low toxicity to animals.
